Ingredients
Chicken :
- 1 Pack of family chicken drumsticks
- 4 cases of Pat BBQ mild spices
- 175 ml Pat Mild BBQ Sauce
- 1 pinch of smoked paprika
Accompaniement :
- 4 to 5 red potatoes cut into cubes
- 1 tsp of Pat BBQ wild tide spice
- 1 pinch of smoked paprika
- 1 cat garlic chopped
- 2 tbsp canola or olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 bunch of chopped green onion to garnish or chives
PREPARATION
CHICKEN
- Lighting the embers for the charcoal BBQ
- Massage the chicken drumsticks to coat the spices well and place on a baking sheet.
- Once the charcoal is ready, place the embers in the center of the BBQ and place the grill on top.
- Place the chicken drumsticks on the grill around the fire.
- Cook for approximately 2 hours at 250F
- After 45 minutes turn the drumsticks and brush with mild bbq sauce on top and repeat step one 2 nd times.
POTATO
- In the meantime, cut the potatoes into cubes and cook in a cast iron pan with the oil, butter, chopped garlic and spices in the center of the heat.
PLATE ASSEMBLY:
- In the center of the plate place the hash browns and garnish with chicken drumsticks around them.
- Decorate with zig zag BBQ sauce and chopped green onion.
- Keep some BBQ sauce in a small bowl to sauce the chicken.
