Shipping policy
Shipping Method
When you place an order, the standard shipping method used by Patbbq.com is Canada Post Standard Parcel, delivered without signature.
Deliveries can only be made to locations that have a physical address with a street name or rural route number, as well as a postal code. No orders will be delivered to a P.O. Box.
Fees
All delivery fees, plus applicable taxes, are your sole responsibility from the Patbbq.com warehouse and will be added to the purchase price. To know the delivery fees for your order, you will need to log in if you have an account, or otherwise provide the intended delivery address. These fees depend on the delivery address and the contents of the order. They may also include both a fixed and a variable portion, depending on the price or weight of your order. Delivery fees are generally a minimum of twelve dollars and ninety-nine cents ($12.99) and are charged by Canada Post.
Shipping fees are calculated by Canada Post according to your address for online orders under $60 before taxes. Free shipping is available for online orders of $60 or more in Quebec, $100 or more in other Canadian provinces, and $200 or more in the United States.
All import/export and customs clearance fees, plus applicable taxes, are also your sole responsibility from the Patbbq.com warehouse in L’Isle-Verte, and will be added to the purchase price. It is your responsibility to verify any law, regulation, or standard, of any kind, applicable to you regarding the import, export, and customs clearance of the Products.
Shipping costs, including packaging and handling, are included in the purchase price of each item.
Patbbq.com reserves the right to indicate in the Product description any promotion related to shipping and delivery under the terms and conditions specified therein.
We recommend grouping your purchases into a single order to minimize fees. Please note, however, that we cannot combine orders that must be shipped to different addresses. In such cases, you will be required to pay the fees for each order separately. Special care is taken with orders containing fragile products, such as glass containers, which are oversized and protected accordingly.
Refusal, Unclaimed Orders, or Delivery to an Incorrect Address
If you refuse to take possession of your order upon delivery, it will be returned to the Patbbq.com warehouse in L’Isle-Verte. The same applies to unclaimed orders after one or more delivery attempts and after a certain number of days being held at the postal counter. Delivery terms vary depending on the carrier selected. Here is the link to the Canada Post explanation pages on this subject: Canada Post – Attempted Delivery.
Orders delivered to the wrong address due to your error or with incomplete address information will also be returned to the Patbbq.com warehouse.
In all cases, except when a package is refused because it was damaged during transport or because of an address error not caused by you, Patbbq.com will not be responsible for any shipping and delivery costs, customs duties, or other taxes related to the return of a shipment to its warehouse, and you will be fully responsible for such costs.
