Ingredients

  • A large Spanish onion
  • MacKroken BBQ Pat Sauce
  • Bacon
  • Toothpick

PREPARATION

  • Cut onion rings the width of a little finger
  • Remove the center and keep two rounds thick
  • Dip in Farnham Pat BBQ Sauce
  • Wrap with bacon, approximately two slices per round
  • Prick in two places with a toothpick to hold the bacon in place
  • Cook on the BBQ using indirect cooking at 350°F for approximately 30 to 40 minutes
  • You can also smoke them over soft wood
One onion yields about four slices.
